How I reviewed this: I checked Hostinger and Weblium's current plans, prices and features on the official sites in September 2026. I haven't run my own tests for this article yet, so there are no timings or scores here. Prices change, so confirm on the official site before buying. A commission never changes my verdict. Always verify live features and pricing on the official sites before you pay.
Hostinger is the better value for most cost-conscious small businesses. Weblium wins if you want flexible billing, one carefully built site and human support around the clock.
- Hostinger is best for: Small businesses happy to prepay for a low price, run two or three sites and get free first-year email
- Weblium is best for: Owners who want monthly or yearly billing, careful mobile layouts and real people on support
- Starting price: Hostinger Premium from $1.99/mo ($95.52 for 48 months, paid upfront), renewing at $10.99/mo. Weblium Starter $11/mo billed yearly ($132/yr) or $16 month-to-month (September 2026)

Hostinger and Weblium both promise the same thing: a professional small-business website without code. They get there in very different ways. Hostinger sells an all-in-one package (builder, hosting, domain, email and AI tools) on long prepaid terms. Weblium is a block-based builder with shorter billing, a separate mobile editor and human support around the clock.
This comparison uses each company's official pricing, feature and help pages as we checked them in September 2026. Prices are in USD, change often, and can vary by region and promotion, so treat every number below as "at the time of writing (September 2026)".
Quick answer
- Pick Hostinger if you want the lowest entry price, more than one website on a single plan, free mailboxes for the first year, and AI that can generate a whole first draft of your site.
- Pick Weblium if you want month-to-month billing, fine control over how each block looks on phones and tablets, and 24/7 support from real people. It also suits you if you'll only ever run one site.

Pricing: cheap upfront vs flexible billing
Hostinger's headline prices assume you prepay for 48 months. As of November 3, 2026, Premium is $1.99/mo ($95.52 for 48 months, paid upfront) and renews at $10.99/mo. Unlimited is $2.79/mo ($133.92 for 48 months, paid upfront) and renews at $16.99/mo. Cloud Startup was $7.99/mo ($383.52 upfront) and renews at $25.99/mo. Hostinger states that all plans are paid upfront. The monthly figure is just the total divided by the months. The 30-day money-back guarantee lowers the risk of that first payment.

Weblium overhauled its pricing in 2026, its first major change in seven years according to its own announcement. The old Free/Pro setup became Free, Starter and Business. Starter costs $16 month-to-month or $132 a year ($11/mo). Business costs $25 month-to-month or $210 a year ($17.50/mo). The longest term is one year, and each subscription covers one website.
What that means for a small business: over four years, Hostinger's intro deal is very hard to beat on price, especially if you run two or three sites. Weblium costs more per site, but you never lock in for more than a year, and you can pay monthly while you find out whether the site earns its keep.
Plan limits that matter more than the headline price
Price is only half the story. The limits written under each plan decide whether a builder still fits in year two. Here is what each official pricing page lists as of November 3, 2026.
Weblium limits by plan
- Free: 60 days, up to 3 pages per site, 100 MB storage and 100 MB bandwidth. It includes the editor, 300+ templates, mobile optimization, free icons and photos, and the Evo AI assistant. No credit card is required.
- Starter: up to 10 pages per site, 3 GB media storage, 5 GB bandwidth, no Weblium branding, advanced SEO settings, lead capture tools, advanced design options, and integrations and custom code.
- Business: up to 500 pages per site, 10 GB media storage and 20 GB bandwidth. It adds the online store, a blog and a multilingual site (up to 5 languages).
Read that list carefully. On Weblium, the blog and the online store are Business-plan features. If you want to publish articles to grow search traffic, Starter is not enough. That pushes the real Weblium price for a content-driven business to $210 a year or $25 a month.
Hostinger limits by plan
- Premium: up to 3 websites, 2 mailboxes per website free for 1 year, a custom domain free for 1 year, 900+ templates, and chatbot support from Hostinger Agent.
- Unlimited: unlimited websites and mailboxes per website (free for 1 year), priority 24/7 expert support, ecommerce, and free AI email marketing for 1 year for up to 100 subscribers.
- Cloud Startup: the same feature list as Unlimited, aimed at sites that need more performance.
Hostinger notes that "unlimited" features are subject to its Fair Usage Policy. Note too that Hostinger lists ecommerce under Unlimited and Cloud Startup, not Premium. If you plan to sell, compare Hostinger Unlimited with Weblium Business, not Premium with Starter.
Updated Hostinger pricing (November 2026)
When we rechecked Hostinger's website builder page on November 3, 2026, its Black Friday promo prices had dropped further than in the table above. Premium showed $1.99/mo ($95.52 for 48 months, paid upfront), renewing at $10.99/mo. Unlimited showed $2.79/mo ($133.92 for 48 months), renewing at $16.99/mo. Cloud Startup stayed at $7.99/mo ($383.52 for 48 months), renewing at $25.99/mo. The promo also doubled AI credits: 500 instead of 250 on Premium, 1,000 instead of 500 on Unlimited, and 2,000 instead of 1,000 on Cloud Startup. Promos and regional prices change, so check the live page.
Four-year cost: a worked example
This is simple arithmetic using the official prices listed above, for a single small-business site.
| Scenario (one site) | How it's paid | Total |
|---|---|---|
| Hostinger Premium, 48-month promo | One upfront payment | $95.52 for 4 years |
| Hostinger Unlimited, 48-month promo | One upfront payment | $133.92 for 4 years |
| Weblium Starter, yearly | 4 × $132 | $528 for 4 years |
| Weblium Business, yearly | 4 × $210 | $840 for 4 years |
| Weblium Starter, monthly | 48 × $16 | $768 for 4 years |
Two caveats keep this fair. First, Hostinger's low price depends on paying for four years on day one, and the plan then renews at the standard rate. Second, Weblium's figures assume today's prices hold for four years, which no company guarantees. The gap is still large. Weblium has to win on workflow, design control or support, not on cost.
Editing experience: AI-first vs block-first
Hostinger now offers a single "AI Builder" with two modes. Manual mode is the classic drag-and-drop editor. Agentic mode lets you build websites and web apps by prompting the AI ("vibe coding"). Hostinger says every plan includes both modes, so you can switch at any time. Its AI tools include an AI Writer, an AI logo maker, an AI SEO Assistant, and product-page generation that writes titles, descriptions and images from a short description. Hostinger also says sites adjust to mobile screens automatically and that the builder generates a sitemap for you.
Weblium is built around ready-made blocks plus a "Flex block" that lets you move elements freely. Its main difference is that you can customize how the site looks separately for desktop, smartphone and tablet. If your customers mostly arrive on phones and you care about exactly how a hero section stacks on a small screen, that control is useful. Weblium's AI features are AI Writing (a ChatGPT integration in the editor) and the Evo AI assistant.
Rule of thumb: if you would rather describe the business and edit an AI draft, Hostinger fits that workflow. If you would rather assemble pages yourself from designed blocks and fine-tune the mobile view, Weblium fits better.
Step by step: launching the same site on each platform
On Hostinger
- Start the 14-day free trial. Hostinger says it includes site creation from a description, 900+ templates, the drag-and-drop editor, AI writing and design, ecommerce features, SEO and marketing tools, and 24/7 support.
- Describe your business so the AI generates a first version, or pick a template.
- Edit in Manual mode: swap images, rewrite headlines with AI Writer, and set colours and fonts.
- Use the AI SEO tools to write meta titles, descriptions and image alt text.
- Connect Google Analytics, Google Ads or Meta Pixel if you run ads.
- Choose a paid plan to publish. Hostinger states that publishing requires a paid plan, and the free domain applies to plans of 12 months or longer.
On Weblium
- Sign up free. No credit card is needed. New accounts get 14 days of enhanced access before dropping to the Free plan.
- Pick one of the 300+ templates and delete any block you don't need.
- Switch to the phone and tablet views and adjust each block's layout separately.
- Use AI Writing to draft section copy, then edit it in your own voice.
- Set SEO tags and a custom 404 page. Weblium lists tags, breadcrumbs and 404-page settings among its SEO tools.
- Upgrade to Starter (lead capture) or Business (store, blog, multilingual) before the 60-day free window ends.
Which one fits your business? Use cases
- Local service business with one site (plumber, salon, consultant): either works. Hostinger Premium is far cheaper over four years. Choose Weblium Starter if you want monthly billing and fine control over the mobile layout.
- Freelancer or agency running several client sites: Hostinger, because Premium covers up to 3 sites and Unlimited covers unlimited sites. Weblium needs one subscription per site, although its 5, 10 and 15-site bundles save 25–40%. Weblium also sells a separate white-label offer for agencies, starting at 48 USD/month.
- Small online shop: Weblium Business supports up to 10,000 products, with PayPal, Stripe, Square and more. Hostinger's ecommerce (Unlimited and up) advertises 0% transaction fees and 100+ payment methods. Compare the payment gateways available in your country before you choose.
- Multilingual business: Weblium Business explicitly includes a multilingual site in up to 5 languages.
- Content and blog-led SEO: on Weblium the blog needs Business. On Hostinger, check that the plan you pick lists the blog features you need.
- Owner who wants the site built for them: Weblium Studio offers done-for-you sites, audits and migrations, starting at 300 USD.
Billing, renewals and switching
Weblium's FAQ explains its rules plainly. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard or PayPal. The longest term is one year, and it renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal. You can upgrade at any time, and the price is adjusted for unused time. To downgrade, you cancel auto-renewal and buy the lower plan when the current one ends. If a renewal payment fails, paid features stay active for 5 days while Weblium retries the payment. After that, the site drops to the Free plan.
Hostinger states that all plans are paid upfront and renew at the listed renewal price for the same term, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Put the renewal date in your calendar. The jump from $1.99/mo to $10.99/mo is the main cost surprise for Hostinger customers.
FAQ
Is Hostinger or Weblium free?
Hostinger has no free plan, only a 14-day free trial, and you need a paid plan to publish. Weblium has a Free plan that keeps a simple site (up to 3 pages) live for 60 days.
Which is cheaper over time?
Using today's official prices, Hostinger's 48-month promo is far cheaper for one site. See the four-year table above. Weblium costs less upfront in any single payment, because you never pay more than a year at a time.
Which has better support?
Weblium advertises 24/7 chat and email support with "no bots, only real people". Hostinger Premium gets chatbot support from Hostinger Agent, while Unlimited and Cloud Startup add priority 24/7 expert support. We haven't tested either support team, so we can't judge response quality.
Can I move my site between them later?
Neither builder exports a site you can import into the other, so plan on rebuilding the pages. Your domain can move. Weblium offers a paid Website Transfer service for moving to Weblium.
Do both include a free domain?
Yes, for the first year only. Hostinger includes it on plans of 12 months or longer, and Weblium includes it with any annual subscription. Budget for the domain renewal from year two.
Bottom line
If cost and multiple sites matter most, start the Hostinger trial. If you want monthly billing, hands-on mobile layouts and human support, start on Weblium's free plan. Either way, build a real homepage during the trial before you pay. That tells you more than any comparison table.
