About

ToolPilot Guide helps creators, freelancers and small businesses choose software with less guesswork and fewer wasted subscriptions. Every review is written to answer a practical question: is this tool worth your time and money, and which plan do you actually need?

Who runs ToolPilot Guide

Hi, I'm Romans Mutih Alvuh, an independent software reviewer based in Cameroon. I run ToolPilot Guide on my own, and I write the reviews, comparisons and tutorials you read here. There is no big editorial team behind the site, which means the opinions are mine and I stand behind them.

I started the site because choosing software is harder than it should be. Pricing pages are confusing, "free" plans hide limits, and many reviews read like adverts. I wanted a place that says who a tool is for, who should skip it, and what it really costs after the first year.

How I test products

I test tools hands-on, with real projects rather than demo files. For a video editor that means cutting and exporting an actual video. For a design tool it means building a real infographic or presentation on the free plan. For a website builder or funnel platform it means setting up a working page and checking where the limits start.

While I test, I take screenshots, record what I see, and measure results where I can: export times, credit usage, download limits, watermarks and renewal prices. Posts say what I tested, what I did not test, and when prices were last checked. Pricing and features change often, so please confirm current details on the vendor's own site before you buy.

How the site makes money

ToolPilot Guide is funded by two things: affiliate links and advertising. If you click an affiliate link and buy, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The site also shows ads. This income pays for hosting, testing subscriptions and my time.

It does not buy a good review. Editorial decisions stay with me: a commission never decides a verdict, a ranking or whether I mention a weakness. If a cheaper or free alternative is better for you, I say so. Read the full details in the Affiliate Disclosure.

Fambuh AI is my own product

Fambuh AI is a product I own. I am not a neutral reviewer of it, so whenever it is covered on this site I disclose that connection clearly and judge it by the same questions I apply to any other tool.

What the site covers

The focus is beginner-to-intermediate, real-world use: video editing, design, website builders and hosting, funnels and email marketing, and AI tools for creators and small businesses.
