Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: September 18, 2026
ToolPilot is reader-supported. This page explains how we make money and how that affects (and does not affect) our content.
FTC / transparency note
In accordance with applicable advertising disclosure guidelines, we disclose that some links on ToolPilot are affiliate links. If you click a link and buy or sign up, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
What “affiliate link” means
An affiliate link is a special URL that tells a brand or network you came from ToolPilot. If you purchase, we may receive a commission. You should not pay more because you used our link.
Where you’ll see disclosures
- On this page (sitewide disclosure)
- In article intros or near relevant product links when we use affiliate links
- Occasionally in captions or social posts that promote reviewed tools
How we choose tools
We aim to recommend software we’d consider for the job described. We explain who a tool is for — and who should skip it. A commission never guarantees a positive review, ranking, or placement.
Free trials, accounts, and gifts
Brands sometimes provide free trials, review accounts, or media assets. When that materially affects a review, we note it in the article when practical. Editorial conclusions remain ours.
Ads and sponsored content
If we publish paid sponsorships or advertising separate from normal affiliate links, we will label that content clearly (for example “Sponsored”).
Your trust matters more than any single commission
If a better free or paid alternative exists for your situation, we try to say so. Always verify current pricing and features on the official site before you buy.
